After rescuing Princess Duare from the Beast-Men, she and Carson await for his ship. Suddenly, a winged fury (Klangan) swoops down and grabs the princess. Now captured and imprisoned, Carson is taken to the Thorist's death chamber and must choose one of seven doors to walk through, only one leads to freedom. A giant snake slithers into the room, so that Carson will have to choose a door quickly. He opens a door and ducks as a Sabertooth tiger (Tharban) leaps in. With lightning speed, the coiled snake snares the tiger and crushes it. Carson searches around the room quickly and jumps up towards a dangling noose.
