Eben Kent was the adoptive father of Superman.
History
While Eben was out on a car trip with his wife on April 10, 1927, they came across an alien rocket. Hearing screams of a baby inside, Eben put himself in risk, to get the baby out of the burning rocket. Eben and his wife decided to raise the boy as their own.
For the next 25 years, the Kents were a happy family, until Eben's heart finally gave out and he passed away.
