Synopsis for "The Dead Boy Detectives"

International Academy student Annika Abernathy contacted Edwin and Charles after her friend Elizabeth Parker went missing. The Dead Boy Detectives disguised themselves as female students to blend in at her school (because it was an all-girls school), while staying with Annika, Fiorenza, Michiko, and Frederika and helping them find Liz. The Dead Boy Detectives and the girls investigated Mr. Bourne due to him being close with Liz, as well as Professor Pimm after seeing them talk and connected both of them to her disappearance. While reading her diary, the Dead Boy Detectives and the other girls read her speculation about hidden works of art.

During the holiday pageant, Annika and her friends publicly confronted Ms. Gorse about Liz's disappearance, although they later learned that she was actually still alive and that the teachers were paid not to speak her name after her disappearance. To dispell suspicions, Mr. Bourne and Professor Pimm clarified that they spoke to each other earlier about who would play Santa Claus in the pageant. As Liz's father started playing music on the stage, she snuck away and unsuccessfully attempted to obtain the hidden works of art she speculated about in her diary before being caught. Afterwards, the other girls went on vacation while the Dead Boy Detectives returned to the Tree House in London, where they received a letter from them.
