Synopsis for Captain Marvel: "Captain Marvel and the Curse of the Endless Wishes!"
Billy Batson is having a walk in the woods and finds a sign stating that there’s a Gnome Forest nearby and suddenly hears a shouting for help from inside a boulder. Calling SHAZAM, he summons Captain Marvel to crack it open and finds it has the Last of the Forest Gnomes in it. The jolly gnome tells him that a wicked sorcerer imprisoned him there a millennium ago. For his effort, the Gnome offers Captain Marvel any thing he wants and, finding Captain Marvel has no real wants, instead offers him that any wish he wants will come true! Captain Marvel wishes for some pencil and paper for Billy to write this kind of thing up into a story. He presumes that someone must’ve coincidentally left them there and takes it down. Once he returns to the city, Captain Marvel is ambushed by autograph hounds and muses what if they’d never heard of him… only for his wish to come true and finds the world has forgotten about him entirely! When he tries to prove that he’s the World’s Mightiest Mortal by breaking a table, only for them to think he’s a violent maniac and has him jailed for 10 days. The Gnome suddenly appears when Captain Marvel wishes he knew how any of this made sense and the Gnome explains that he can’t really turn this power off. In order to fix it, Captain Marvel wishes everyone did know him again and is let out, only to be swarmed by reporters that he ends up wishing would be quiet, muting them all until he wishes otherwise. Captain Marvel considers returning Billy, only to be distracted by a jewelry store robbery and Giant Swings them into each other. While doing so, he very foolishly wishes that he didn’t have to return Billy and could be a full-time hero, which means that he cannot anymore with the magic word SHAZAM! He worries this is tantamount to killing Billy Batson, but the Gnome appears and points out that he could solve this by making the right wish and Captain Marvel realizes he can merely wish to not have the power to wish for anything and it does. Captain Marvel tries to wish himself into a green-haired ape with six eyes and two tails and… luckily nothing happens! Captain Marvel is happy that he isn’t and that things are back to normal.

Synopsis for Captain Marvel: "Captain Marvel, the World's Worst Villain"
Billy Batson reports on WHIZ-TV that there’s due to be a big wrestling match between the famed wrestlers Lord Fauntleroy and The Ogre. Billy understands the kayfabe and heads back to a dressing room to interview Tom Peabody, who plays the Ogre, but finds that he’s sprained his ankle with minutes until the match begins! Mr. Morris says they’ll have to cancel, so Billy calls SHAZAM to summon Captain Marvel to help. Captain Marvel dresses up as The Ogre, which involves big ears attached to a domino mask, a bushy wig and fake fangs. However, Captain Marvel finds that he isn’t a convincing heel: he takes bumps too easily and no-sells when drop-kicked, forcing Lord Fauntleroy to botch, dizzying him and accidentally winning the match! Everyone boos as the Ogre takes the match and Captain Marvel heads to the back, pointing out he’s not good at losing! Mr. Morris decides that, since Peabody will be out for a week, he’ll teach Captain Marvel how to be a good heel. Over that week, Captain Marvel learns how to take a bump, how to sell, usually by loudly complaining.
Across the week, the Ogre loses every match and convincingly, but Captain Marvel starts to feel a bit upset that he does nothing but lose and has to contend with the emotional stress of being a purposefully hated celebrity. However, when he has a fit in the ring and decides to break kayfabe and win for one night, Mr. Morris tells him that it was a big success, but now they want to see him get beat by someone really powerful: Captain Marvel! Luckily, Peabody is healed and able to play the Ogre again, so Captain Marvel can play himself and they’ll donate the proceeds to charity! Captain Marvel manages to sell a good fight and defeats the Ogre. Billy signs off saying that Captain Marvel had a good time and that he’ll remain a hero from now on.

Synopsis for Captain Kid: "The Painters Problem"
Captain Kid is hanging out in his basement, making “fireproof” paint that “won’t burn” as his friend Buster visits to ask what he’s up to. Buster offers him $10 to paint his canoe with fireproof paint and Captain Kid agrees to. Later, Pudgy and his pal Joe are canoeing and spot Captain Kid preparing to paint the canoe on the riverside and Pudgy decides to prank him by switching out the fireproof paint with normal paint, then hides the normal paint behind some nearby rocks. Joe and Pudgy leave while Captain Kid returns with a large paintbrush and starts coating the canoe. Pudgy shows up and points out that Buster should check and make sure that it’s fireproofed for real by lighting the canoe on fire. Unfortunately, the canoe lights on fire, incensing Buster, but Captain Kid quickly explains: He didn’t paint Buster’s canoe with the fake fireproof paint, he painted Pudgy’s canoe and they have a laugh at finding Pudgy has burned his own canoe to cinders. Captain Kid leans on Pudgy until he reveals where he hid the real fireproof paint and goes back to painting Buster’s canoe to get that $10. Joe glares at Pudgy, who claims they were both invested.

Synopsis for Captain Marvel: "Captain Marvel Battles the Apes Who Could Make Fire"
A big game hunter in some area of the Belgian Congo runs into terrified natives shouting about how “apes” have seized their village. Billy Batson soon reports on these ape attack and calls SHAZAM to summon Captain Marvel to look into it. He soon finds the huts of the local tribes have been seized and that apes are now living there. When spotted, the apes reveal they can now use weapons like spears and archery and even torches. Captain Marvel is astonished to see that apes have learned so much, but is also disgusted that someone has presumably trained these apes to do all this. However, apes can’t speak which makes finding more information difficult. Captain Marvel flies to another village to find it being overrun by smaller monkeys (also with torches) and rescues them by punching the monkeys out. Finally, he runs into a village being attacked by torch-wielding chimpanzees, but then a village being attacked by normal white guys with torches, but finds that they are given their orders by instructions left for them and paid in gold. Captain Marvel decides to pressure them into meeting this mysterious mastermind. Captain Marvel tries to give chase at the meeting spot in the night, but when he calls SHAZAM to return Billy to look around more stealthily, all he can find is a large ape that immediately punches him in the head, knocking out the boy reporter. When he wakes up, he’s been bound and gagged by the same ape, who declares himself the Ape Mastermind and wears green shorts. He has decided that now that he has learned the ways of man, he will defeat them and will use other primates against them, even other men. The Ape Mastermind tells Billy that people are stupid enough to take gold to kill each other for him and prepares to throw him into a fire, but the goons rush in and decide to help Billy instead, letting him call SHAZAM to summon Captain Marvel again who punches him out. He notes that the goons have completely made up for trying to burn down a small village by defeating this Ape Mastermind and that the other, less-intelligent apes will surely forget how to wage war on people. Later, Billy signs off by saying that the Ape Mastermind will be studied for years in a cage.
