History
Captain Blanco attacked a cruise ship, intending to steal the guests' jewelry. He was about to be confronted by Aquaman but Zatanna beat him to the punch and magically locked Blanco in a cage.[1]

- Captain Blanco was created by Dan DiDio and Ian Churchill, first appearing in DC Universe Holiday Special #1. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Captain Blanco first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in DC's Harley Quinn Romances #1 by Ivan Cohen and Fico Ossio.
