Boston Brand assumed the mantle of The Question sometime after the original sacrificed himself, Vic Sage was locked up in Arkham Asylum, the disappearance of Renee Montoya, and the murder of a man named Drake at the hands of Shazam.
History
The Question began to work on unraveling the mystery of who had been behind the multiple murders worldwide.
He came to suspect Shazam for his odd behavior and shared this information with his fellow Leaguer, Vixen, as to his odd behaviors following his tapping of Billy Batson's phone.
Following the murder of The Creeper right in front of the League by an unknown attacker, the Question finally confronted Shazam after revealing that they had recovered the footage from Creeper's murder that had been corrupted.
The footage showed Shazam murdering Creeper, the Question further implying Shazam had killed the missing Jakeem Thunder/Johnny Thunder.[1]

- Acrobatics: When the League confronted Giganta and the Manhunter during their prison break, Boston was shown moving very quickly.[1]
- Hand-to-Hand Combat (Advanced): He is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, enough to aid the rest of the League against foes like Giganta and a Manhunter.[1]
- Investigation: Brand is a highly skilled detective like his predecessors. He was the first and only member of the Justice League to figure out on his own that Shazam had been responsible for the murder of the Creeper, and likely Jakeem/Johnny Thunder.[1]
