Synopsis for "Part 4: Heartbreaker!"

Dinah continues to reject Ra's, and he resolves to throw her in the pit unwillingly, planning to use her lengthened lifespan to brainwash her into loving him.

Aboard the Blue Beetle's Bug airship, Babs directs her team, including a very cranky Power Girl. As Ra's men fire heavy ordnance at the approaching heros, Power Girl and Militia soak up the damage, and the oncoming forces cause Ra's to start a retreat, including killing Dinah. As her heavy hitters distract the might of the League of Assassins, Babs and Beetle prepare to infiltrate the Pit, Babs determined to save Dinah herself.

Meanwhile, Dinah herself battles for her life against the massive and vicious Ubu. Power Girl and Milita clean up Ra's forces, and Power Girl says she has to go. Just as Ubu is about to stomp Dinah's head in, he is knocked aside by the falling of the structure around the Pit, and Babs and Beetle arrive. Dinah is too badly injured to survive - broken back, punctured lung - and Babs insists on putting her in the Pit to save her life, despite Dinah's hope that she could use it to walk again. Once Beetle throws Dinah in, Babs realizes too late that the healed and Lazarus-Pit-insane Dinah will also have her Canary Cry, finally healed after so many years, and Dinah emerges from the toxic liquids screaming...
