After a series of murder attempts on different nights, Batman and Robin become part of the crew on one of the operas, in order to locate the killer from the inside. Notes
- "The Case of Batman II" features a "Batman dies" scenario for the first time in history. It also contains the first expanded illustration of the inside view of the Batcave.
- In "The Case of Batman II", Bruce Wayne fakes his death and then disguises himself as acrobat "Bill Randall". The name Bill Randall has been used before -- in the Batman comic strip in 1944, Batman and Robin met GCPD Sergeant Bill Randall, who temporally donned the Batman costume when Bruce Wayne was incapacitated by a gunshot wound.
Trivia
- The third story features references to different operas including Pagliacci, Tosca and Il trovatore.
