Synopsis for "Ride, Bat-Hombre, Ride!"

After saving the president of Mantegua from an assassination attempt, Batman and Robin are asked to train a new Batman to fight off Mantegua's greatest threat: El Papagayo.
Batman and Robin do their best to train a new Batman, but their efforts are futile and they capture the criminals with help from the local police.

Synopsis for "The Armored Batman"
This story is reprinted from Batman #111.
After a man in a trenchcoat appears at the Gotham City Hall of Fame and tells the assembled reporters to let Batman know that Blair Graeme is after him. Batman and Robin, who arrive shortly afterward, are apparently thrown into a panic. Saying they face terrible danger, they immediately leave and, when they reappear, are clad in suits of armor. Batman and Robin are able to carry out their various tasks with the cumbersome metal clothing on, using chains instead of ropes to swing on. But Vicki Vale is determined to learn the secret of Blair Graeme, and learns from a member of the Gotham Scientific Foundation that Batman has been called in to help them solve a recent robbery, though not apparently by Graeme.
Finally, the reason for their armor becomes apparent when they trap a trio of thieves who had stolen "atomic fuel" from the Foundation. Batman and Robin have been wearing radiation-proof suits under their suits of metal armor. Gordon and Batman let Vicki know that they feared a panic if the news of the radioactive material theft were leaked, and Vicki gets Batman to confess that he was actually Blair Graeme to help set up the deception. She informs him that if he were in real danger he would have kept clear of crowds, which he did not, so she guessed he was faking it. Batman replies that he will never laugh at her deductive abilities again.

Synopsis for "Complete Sunday Newspaper Syndicated Story"
Batman and Robin join a forest ranger on his daily patrol when they are suddenly prompted to stop a wild fire. After the danger is averted, the heroes learn about a former pyromaniac living nearby and they pay a visit to the man. The young man claims to be reformed, but all the evidence points to him as the responsible for the fire. When the forest rangers take the man away, they are suddenly attacked and the arsonist is nowhere to be found. When a second fire starts, Batman and Robin hurry to save some trapped people in a small shack. To their surprise, one of the victims was the former arsonist, and Batman finally learns that the man has been framed. Following the clues and evidence, Batman and Robin find the responsible of the crimes and they stop him for good, clearing the name of an innocent man.

Synopsis for "Batman and the Vikings!"
This story is reprinted from Batman #52.
On a visit to the Museum, Bruce and Dick recognize Bruce's face on an old Viking stone, and to solve the mystery they ask Professor Nichols to send them back in time to the era of the Vikings. In the past, Batman and Robin learn that the man who resembles Bruce is called Olaf Erickson and that he is considered a coward among his peers. Batman and Olaf switch places and disguised as Olaf; passes a series of grueling warrior tests without harming his opponents. The Vikings reckon Olaf as a great warrior, but only after Olaf confesses the deception; which the Viking leader says took more courage than any physical feat he could have performed.
When Bruce and Dick return to the present, they are able to find a missing archaeological piece from the stone, which completes a message in honor of Erickson.

Synopsis for "Mayor Bruce Wayne!"
This story is reprinted from Detective Comics #179.
A criminal called Deuce Chalmers has figured out that Bruce Wayne is Batman and he has created the perfect plan to prove it. Shortly after, Bruce is appointed temporary Mayor of Gotham City; situation which is used by Chalmers to impersonate Batman while Bruce is busy working at Gotham City Hall. In this way, the fake Batman manages to kidnap a group of wealthy people and Bruce figures a way to rescue them and keeping his secret identity safe. Soon, the real Batman confronts Chalmers and captures the criminal while Bruce is apparently unconscious.

Synopsis for "The Flying Batman"
This story is reprinted from Batman #82.
Batman and Robin are chasing a suspicious man, when suddenly the man starts flying with his own wings and he attacks the Dynamic Duo, rendering them unconscious with a sting and taking them away from Gotham City. The heroes wake up in a weird city inhabited by winged men, who want to operate on Batman to give him wings in order to track down a family of winged men that has been terrorizing their valley.
Batman agrees and he is given bat wings, which help him fly through the sky. Batman and Robin then manage to defeat the winged villains and after their successful mission, they are returned to Gotham after Batman's wings are removed.
