Batman: The Wrath collects the Batman: Wrath Child storyline which was written by Tony Bedard and illustrated by Rags Morales. It was published from March to June, 2008 in the the comic book series Batman Confidential (Volume 1). In this story The Wrath returns from the shadows of the past.
This paperback also contains the first story with The Wrath in it. This story was published in June, 1984 in Batman Special #1 and is called Player on the Other Side. It was written by Mike W. Barr and illustrated by Michael Golden and Mike DeCarlo.
