Barbara Gordon is an ally of Batman. She was once the adventurer known as Batgirl, but after being paralyzed, she became an information broker under the alias Oracle.

History

Barbara Gordon is seen as Batgirl in Arkham Asylum, helping Nightwing carry a recently apprehended Clayface into custody.^[1]

After and unspecified accident, Barbara became paralyzed from the waist down.^[2] Despite her injury, she continued fighting crime under the name Oracle.^[3]
