Arthur, Jr. (DCAU)

Arthur, Jr. is the son of Aquaman and Mera.

History

Arthur was born in Atlantis, where he was cared for by his parents. At some point, his uncle Orm betrayed Aquaman to be the new king and kidnapped Arthur, placing him on a cliff along with his father so that they would die. But Aquaman managed to save them by cutting off his hand. Orm was eventually defeated and Arthur returned to the kingdom with his parents.

Years later, Arthur had a sister named Mareena, who would later become Aquagirl. As an infant, Mareena was kidnapped by the Deep Six. While she was quickly rescued, Aquaman blamed his son for the abduction and had him banished from the Atlantean Royal Palace.^[1]
