Synopsis for "Aquaman/Green Arrow: Deep Target"

Two years ago in Glacier National Park, Montana, a team of Scorpio technicians under the command of General Anderton assemble a Cosmic Treadmill, use it to bring a baby dinosaur into the present and then dismantle it again all in the space of eleven minutes, leaving no trace but a small crater.

In the present day, Green Arrow dons scuba gear, dives into the Pacific Ocean and swims to Atlantis using an underwater jetpack. He infiltrates the city and sneaks into the throne room, which has been drained of water. Aquaman is sat on the throne with his face in shadow, and hears Green Arrow approach despite his attempts to hide. He tries to talk to the other hero, but Arrow simply fires on him without a word. Green Arrow pulls back his hood to reveal that he is Arthur Curry, and he orders Oliver Queen (revealed to be "Aquaman") to get off his throne.

Eighteen months ago, General Anderton participates in a time travel experiment which sends him back to the Jurassic period. As the time portal opens to bring him to the present, a small dinosaur wanders into the range of the machine. Back in the present, the technicians react with horror when he arrives.

In the throne room, Arthur blames Oliver for stealing his life and powers and attacks him, despite Oliver saying he has no idea what has happened to them. Arthur manages to put up a significant fight using trick arrows designed to exploit Oliver's new Atlantean weaknesses, but eventually Oliver overwhelms him with his super-strength. He tells Arthur that he does not want to be Aquaman and has been waiting for Arthur to come to Atlantis so they can work together to fix what has happened. The two swim to the surface and join up with Arthur's assistants, who address him as "Mr. Queen" and claim to have been working for him for two years. They also recognise Oliver as "Oliver Curry", the Aquaman. One of them sends a notification to General Anderton (revealed to have been fused with the dinosaur) that the two are alive and have teamed up.
