History
Powers and Abilities
Abilities
Paraphernalia
Weapons
- The Octopus' ordinary-looking handgun shoots extremely thick, dark smoke, under which cover he makes his escapes, octopus-style.
Notes
- The Octopus wears no mask or disguise, but the artwork is arranged with his face concealed, or obscured by shadows, at all times. This character appears in the Jan 1942 issue of Bulletman #3. Years later, in 1946, another underworld boss villain, also called "the Octopus," would be presented this same way, in Will Eisner's The Spirit.[citation needed]
Trivia
- The Octopus kept a monster octopus, in open air, in a death-trap at his hide-out. No explanation is made for how this creature lived under these conditions.
