Amba Kadiri (Earth-One)

Amba Kadiri was a criminal leader from Bombay, India; who participated in the Underworld Olympics of 1976 in Gotham City.

History

She was the leader of the Afro-Asian team, also dubbed the Double-A that was tasked to complete a treasure hunt. When their mission was endangered by Batman, Amba confronted the Dark Knight as a decoy to allow the rest of the criminals to succeed on their caper. During the fight with Batman, Amba used sharpened claws on her finger-tips, but she was defeated and captured by the Dark Knight.

• Contrary to common belief, Amba's alias is not "Steel Claws". This was just an exclamation used by Batman when he noticed Amba's weapons of choice.
