Special Agent Carter was in charge of the recovery of an alien spacecraft.
History
When his team opened it they activated a self-destruct. However, Carter managed to retrive a blue crystal from the ship, before it was destroyed.
Carter eventually tracked down the ship's owner, Kara Zor-El, and took her prisoner. Carter was ultimately killed by Lionel Luthor.
