Synopsis for "Leviathan Rises, Part 2"
Adam Strange arrives at the headquarters of the Department of Extranormal Operations, where is met by Director Bones, who requested Adam's assistance after Supergirl left Earth. Adam considers working with the D.E.O. but first, he must ask Bones about General Zod. Before their conversation can continue, however, the D.E.O. is attacked by a mysterious towering creature that generates a blue light and destroys the building. Adam barely saves Bones and some of his employees but the building is completely devastated, horrifying Bones.
Meanwhile, Amanda Waller has a secret meeting with Sam Lane at a secure building. Sam tells Waller that Lois she might have finally convinced him that his distrust about Superman and other superheroes was wrong. He asks Waller why did he call for this meeting, but Waller answers he did not call for it. Realizing they have been set up, Waller and Lane attempt to escape the building but the blue light catches up to them.
Superman brings Lois to the Daily Planet and everyone is happy to have her back. Lois walks up to Robinson, who now occupies her old cubicle, and tells her to work hard. She reaches her new office, where she finds Jimmy sleeping under her desk. Jimmy, who is still shocked by his experience with the Kobra Cult, doesn't know if Lois is really who she says she is and Clark offers to take him home.
Waller and Lane have barely survived the building's destruction but watch as the unnamed creature approaches them. To cover her escape, Waller shoots Lane, knowing that his A.R.G.U.S.-created vest will protect him. As the creature reaches him, Lane can only speak out his daughter's name before he loses consciousness.
Clark and Lois have taken Jimmy to his home, making sure he is safe. Lois tries to tell Clark about her father but suddenly, they find Waller standing on the doorstep. She says that Leviathan is taking them all out.
