Despite Batgirl's close friendship with Krypto's owner, Ace doesn't seem to think highly of the Kryptonian canine.

It is an adaptation of Ace the Bat-Hound. The original character was created by Bill Finger and Lew Sayre Schwartz and first appeared in Batman #92.
