Availability[]
The Blue Tearstone Ring is found in the Undead Burg, to the right and downward from the trio of Hollow Soldiers before the Taurus Demon. It is guarded by a Black Knight wielding a sword.
It is also possible to reach the ring by rolling off the side of the stone bridge near the bonfire. However, this can be difficult to pull off, and it puts the player in direct view of the Black Knight, so that path is generally not worth taking.

Boosts defense by 50% when the wearer has less than 20% health remaining.
Overview[]
The Blue Tearstone Ring is a somewhat situational ring, as its purpose is to prevent death, yet it only activates when the wearer is already severely damaged.
However, medium-armored players with a moderate amount of Vitality may find some use in the early-to-mid stages of the game, as the ring is excellent for reducing the damage taken from low-damage attacks, such as the crossbow bolts fired by Hollow Soldiers, or the attacks of Demonic Foliage.
