Trivia[]
- The episode bears some resemblance to the 1971 Italian giallo/mystery movie The Fifth Cord. A serial killer prepares audio tapes to send to the police while murdering numerous miscellaneous people in a span of months. It's revealed one victim was the true target, while the other victims were killed as distractions from the killer's real motive, revenge over a woman stealing a man away from the killer. Coincidentally, the Zodiac Killer was mentioned in the episode, and the film's murders contain vague references to horoscopes.
