Good morning lovely crafters.
For our 52CCT challenge this week Myrna has chosen Polar Bears as the theme.
I've used this Hunkydory stamp.
You might think this is the Northern Lights in the background or you might think it's a piece of water colouring saved in my stash.
It's was a trial for the cling film technique where you add colour to paper then scrunch cling film over it and let it dry. I used watercolour paper here which did not give the definite lines which a smoother paper would have. Anyway, I kept it of course, and it came in useful.
See if you have a bear in your stash and join in the challenge.
What do I think? It's not my usual style but I do like the inky background and the starry knitted jumper.
All stamps are Hunkydory except the holly which is Inky Doodles.
Thanks for visiting and Enjoy your day. x

Penguin party
Hello Lovely Crafters
Our new challenge for the week at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown is Paper piecing.
I decided to use these penguin stamps from Hunkydory, I love their little boots.
It reminded me of those paper dolls people of a certain age will remember. You cut out the paper doll and then dressed her using paper clothes held on with fold over tabs. I seem to remember they never stayed on and were very frustrating. That was what passed for entertainment then!
I've used a mixture of papers from an ancient pack bought at WH Smith called The Paper Stack and freestyled the tree and present stack. The hats and scarf are coloured.
What do I think? - I think it looks as though a child has made it.
I'm sure you can do better. You have a week to join in our challenge.
