Stardust Cookie (Korean: 스타더스트 쿠키, sutadeosutu kuki) is a Super Epic Cookie who first appeared in Fateful Moonrise update (v4.1) and became playable alongside Space Doughnut in the Across the Galaxy of Dreams update (v4.2). He is of the Ambush type and his position is prioritized to the Middle.

Stardust Cookie is a Cookie born from "imperfect" dough imbued with nameless starlight, an unforeseen byproduct of Moonlight Cookie's flawless, moonlight-infused dough that the Wizards discarded into space. Baked by the light of the stars, he travels across the cosmos in search of his origins and a place to call home.

He first appeared as an NPC in the Story of Eternal City of Wizards, where he arrived in the titular city. However, he was teased as early as Dream Express, which warned of a coming disaster in the form of a spacefaring Cookie.

Game Description[]

It is hard to say how long the lonesome speck of Cookie dough had been drifting in the vast emptiness of space before the radiance of nameless stars blessed it with the gift of life. Was it a mere coincidence...? For Stardust Cookie, the warmth of many suns was the heat of the oven, and the distant planets were his only companions in his light-speed journey across galaxies. Beckoned by shapeless, fleeting nebulae, guided by the whispering of the stars, Stardust Cookie headed to the City of Wizards to uncover the secret of his birth. Was he trying to find his long-lost purpose, or, on the contrary, escape his predetermined fate...? With a glint of a stray shooting star, this lonesome voyager crosses someone's sky tonight, seeking a place to call home.

Soulstone Description[]

This stone holds a piece of Stardust Cookie's soul. Imbued with the pulse of distant stars, it is calling into the depths of the cosmos!

Stardust Cookie's Soulstones and Soulcores can be acquired in the Kingdom Arena Medal Shop.

Skill[]

Wrath of the Stars 13 sec
	Stardust Cookie soars in the sky and marks the enemy with the highest ATK (targets Cookies first) with the Sign of the Stars. Then he will descend to deal area damage to the enemies, amplifying debuffs they receive. Targets will receive additional damage depending on the number of buffs they currently have. The Sign of the Stars prevents the target from gaining buffs, decreases their ATK and Healing, and increases the DMG received. If the skill delivers a critical hit, the target will fall Asleep. If the Sign of the Stars is dispelled, the target and the nearby enemies will receive damage. After casting his skill, Stardust Cookie will gain a DMG Resist buff himself. If the enemies are Asleep, Stardust Cookie summons meteors to attack them.

Appearance[]

Stardust Cookie is a slim Cookie of average height. His dough is a deep obsidian with swirls of navy and he has cerulean eyes with long, white lashes.

His translucent hair that resembles a comet's tail is mainly light purple, with dark purple in the middle. He has white bangs and two indigo swirl markings on his forehead. His shoes are white and he wears a flowing blue-black cape with indigo lining, which is cyan and sparkly underneath. Each end of his cape has a white star decoration on it. The bottom of his cape is decorated with a thick dark blue ribbon. His spiky white collar has a gold star in the middle.

Personality[]

Because of his history as an unwanted failure in the Wizards’ eyes, an unknown grief and sorrow consumed Stardust Cookie for much of his time as he traveled the stars. Due to his lonely existence, he sought out the City of Wizards and the Wizards themselves to learn the reason for his creation; upon finding no Wizards that could give him answers, he unleashed his cosmic anger on the city that had once "wronged him and the stars." Only after coming to terms with his creation did he give up his fury, choosing instead to find further meaning by traveling across space. Now, he is a wistful, philosophical, and low-key soul who only wishes to comprehend the depth of the world around him.

Stardust Cookie primarily understands the cosmos, seeing stars as kindred souls that always keep him company. He does not understand Earthbread-bound concepts such as interpersonal relationships or even food, and has thus only cautiously begun to explore these things for himself. It was not until he came aboard Milky Way Cookie’s train in Stardust Cookie's Space Travels that he began to learn how to form meaningful bonds with others, through his interactions with Space Doughnut and the rest of the passengers.

Relation to Moonlight Cookie[]

Stardust Cookie is Moonlight Cookie's brother. Initially unaware of Moonlight Cookie's existence, he bore no ill will towards her upon meeting her, instead desiring only to understand his birthplace and creation. Blinded by rage, he brought with himself stars that the Wizards had discarded in order to destroy the City of Wizards as revenge for being abandoned in the endless cosmos. This directly collided with Moonlight Cookie's wish to protect her dear birthplace and spurred a catastrophic battle. After defeat, Stardust Cookie sought forgiveness from his sister, and the two made amends with the other, with the latter forgiving his destructive actions.

Trivia[]

• His loading screen trivia states, "The voices of forgotten stars found eternal life within the depths of Stardust Cookie's soul..."
• Based on certain pieces of dialogue, Stardust Cookie was deemed an "imperfect Cookie" sometime after Moonlight Cookie was created, but his dough was discarded before her creation. This implies that Stardust Cookie is the older brother while Moonlight Cookie is the younger sister.

• 

  A separate facet of Stardust Cookie exists in the Shadow of a Star. This pensive character wanders the City of Wizards alone, a phantom left only to philosophize over the magnitude of its hollow grounds. Neither Stardust Cookie nor his Shadow are aware of how the two came to coexist.
• Although Stardust Cookie was first seen in both the title screen of the Invitation from the Slumbering Moon update (v4.0) and the end of the Story of Dream Express, his name remained a secret up until the release of Eternal City of Wizards.
• Stardust Cookie's event gacha, the Starlight Gacha, was the first to use the current Super Epic Gacha system. It was also the first limited-time gacha for a Cookie above Epic rarity where other Cookies of the same rarity could be drawn.
• Alongside Space Doughnut, Stardust Cookie was initially planned to be released on March 8, 2023 (10:00 GMT +9), but his release was delayed due to holdups in the application market review process. He and Space Doughnut would release a day later on March 9, 2023 (19:00 GMT +9)^[1].
• Stardust Cookie in his playable Cookie Run: Witch's Castle appearance was demoted to the Epic rarity. This is likely due to the non-existence of the Super Epic rarity in said game.
• Stardust Cookie's Taiwanese voice actor, Chen Hongyu, also provides the voices of Happy Durianeer, Villager Cookie 1, Jolly Bear Jelly and Sugary Dark Cacao Watcher.
