File:ITV4 +1 2013.svg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.) Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Thanks for uploading File:ITV3 +1 2013.svg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the No permission since tag with on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded (:File:ITV3 +1 2013.svg ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

Notification about possible deletion
Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

File:ITV +1.svg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

Hi! I just want to let you know that I have nominated a number of logos of ITV—some of which you uploaded or re-uploaded here on Commons—for deletion as it appears they might actually be copyrightable in England and Wales (the jurisdiction they were created in). As you authored or edited at least some of these files, I'm obliged to let you know that their deletion is being discussed, and that your participation in this discussion would be very welcome indeed. Thank you, odder (talk) 15:02, 22 February 2017 (UTC)

Code issues in User:NatigKrolik/common.js
Hi NatigKrolik, I am a bored bot (this is kind of a computer program) that is watching the recent changes and tapping buttons like I did now.
Curious about the reason? Possibly not but I will tell you anyway:
- You edited User:NatigKrolik/common.js. Glad to see you coding in javascript! Have you ever considered becoming a MediaWiki hacker?
- Though, that change appears to introduce 3 new jshint issues — the page's status is now having ERRORS. Note that invalid or ambiguous code often has unwanted side effects like breaking other tools for you. If you cannot find out how to fix it, I suggest blanking the page for now.
- To help you understanding where the issues are, I have aggregated a report here and now. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask users experienced in javascript writing for help. But do not ask the bot's operators (chronically overwrought) unless you suspect an error of mine. If you prefer not getting spammed by me, you can opt-out reports by adding to your user page or cmb-opt-out anywhere on your your global user page on Meta. Good luck at Wikimedia Commons and happy hacking!

Please sign your postings
As a courtesy to other editors, it is Commons:Signatures policy to sign your posts on talk pages, user talk pages, deletion requests, and noticeboards. To do so, simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments. Your user name or IP address (if you are not logged in) and the date will then automatically be added along with a timestamp when you save your comment. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). Thank you.

Categorization
Whenever transferring files from Flickr, try to be better with categorization. For example, add Category:Files from the U.S. Department of State Flickr stream to any and all files from the U.S. Department of State Flickr stream. Otherwise, I have to do it myself. Thank you. Category accidental issue
Hi NatigKrolik. Just bringing this to your attention. I noticed that you started adding Category:Made in America Product Showcase in 2017 to pages including Commons:Requests for rights. It looks like some kind of automated mistake. I undid a few of them but you should look over all of your contributions and the contents of the category in case and undo the addition where it is not relevant. Thanks for uploading File:MstyslavChernov euromaidan ukriane 055 (cropped).jpg.
Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded (:File:MstyslavChernov euromaidan ukriane 055 (cropped).jpg ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.Elisfkc (talk) 16:09, 7 November 2017 (UTC)
Renaming
Please be more careful when renaming files. This is just nonsense. Also, most of your criterion 4 rename actions are not covered by this criterion. --Didym (talk) 01:26, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
What the … is this? How can you be sure what is the correct name of the object? Incnis Mrsi (talk) 07:04, 26 February 2018 (UTC)
- And again. I expect an answer to this before you rename the next file. --Didym (talk) 16:47, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
- You ignored the waring despite the fact that you have been asked to reply before continuing with moving files. To prevent disruption i had to remove your file move access. The tool was not used in line with to our policy on file renaming, Commons:File renaming. --Steinsplitter (talk) 18:38, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
- And now again. If you are unable to understand the renaming policy, please don't request renames, otherwise this will have further consequences. --Didym (talk) 20:51, 4 March 2018 (UTC)

You possibly think that a gang of conservators engage in meaningless quibbles, but it’s because you don’t care about technical aspects. Moving a file creates overhead which is especially heavy if the file has many uses across Wikimedia wikis. It clutters logs and edit histories and hence this operation is avoided wherever it may be reasonable. Incnis Mrsi (talk) 21:18, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
- OK, you've had enough warnings. Because of this rename request, I have blocked your account for one week. This is probably the only way to stop you or at least get any reaction to the warnings above. --Didym (talk) 21:29, 8 March 2018 (UTC)
Comment A reasonable block, but I do not expect this conflict to be resolved short of topic ban, given NatigKrolik’s eight-months-long obsession with renaming of files and zero amenability to criticism. Incnis Mrsi (talk) 10:27, 9 March 2018 (UTC)

Image Categories
Hi NatigKrolik, please add categories to images you upload, especially from the U.S. Department of State. This image had no assigned categories of the people in the photo. It is difficult to find free images of foreign ministers, officials, and leaders and thus it is important to add proper categories. Thank you. // sikander { talk } 13:37, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
- @NatigKrolik: , seems like this is an ongoing issue. How about adding Category:Holding for NatigKrolik, similar to Category:Holding for Elisfkc? Please add that to your Flickr2Commons uploads and I can help you categorize images. Thank you. // sikander { talk } 14:53, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
File:Vladimir Putin and Ali Khamenei (2018-09-07) 01.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation.
The file you added may soon be deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please replace the copyvio tag with and have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you disagree that the file is a copyright violation for any other reason, please replace the copyvio tag with a regular deletion request. Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
