Insufficient information for Easb.png and Easb logo.png

[edit]

Hello. You've indicated that you are the creator of the images Easb.png and Easb logo.png. However, there is insufficient information to show how you are related to the East Asia School of Business. If you are able to do so (for instance, by sending an e-mail from an East Asia School of Business account), please send an e-mail to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org to confirm that you agree to license the image to the Wikimedia Commons under a free licence such as a Creative Commons licence or the GNU Free Documentation License for all purposes, including allowing it to be modified and used for commercial purposes. Otherwise, the images may have to be removed. Thanks. — Cheers, JackLee talk 22:12, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File:Easb.png has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Just wanted to say that I am not specifically targeting your uploads. However, in order for images to be loaded on to the Wikimedia Commons, there needs to be sufficient evidence that the copyright owner has released the image under a free licence. In this case I feel that, unlike "File:Easb logo.png", the image is too complex for the {{PD-textlogo}} licence to be applied to it. Also, at the moment I don't see enough evidence on the image description page to show that you are the copyright holder or have authorization from the East Asia Institute of Management (EAIM) to upload the image under the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 3.0 and GFDL licences. What you should do is send an e-mail from an EAIM account to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org to confirm that EAIM consents to the image being released under a free licence. See "Commons:Licensing" for more information. — Cheers, JackLee talk 15:52, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
