Dear Christian,
Do you think that you can use your free software version of Adobe Photoshop to upload a better clearer image of this gold and silver boat..over the original photo? I need your help...if you can help uploaded over the image with a better more in focus version of the image. Alamy has a slightly clearer version of this rare flickr photos. This silver and gold boat is almost impossible to find on flickr and I was lucky to persuade someone to change a license on this image here. I hope you can help. I upload GIMP on my computer but I am lost with image software and don't have Adobe Photoshop. I have zero experience with Adobe Photoshop. If you can improve or sharpen the image more....that is good enough. Kind Regards, Leoboudv (talk) 13:52, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
- Done hello, I made an attempt and hope it's good. I tried to be soft in order to not to over-process it, I also "cloned out" two or tree things on the left area, if you thing it's not good you can revert toward the original. Christian Ferrer (talk) 16:45, 10 January 2025 (UTC)
- Comment: Thank You Christian for your help. It is a much better version. I suppose it is true what people say on the internet that even with the best image software, it is almost impossible to clean up an out of focus picture...but this is definitely a much better improvement. The image is usable now. Best, --Leoboudv (talk) 21:01, 10 January 2025 (UTC)

Dear Christian,
This is a request about your image software. If you can sharpen this very unique image with your CD copy of Adobe Photoshop, please feel free to do so. It is made of pure gold. Thank You, --Leoboudv (talk) 21:22, 13 January 2025 (UTC)
- Done Hope it's not too much, otherwise let me know. Christian Ferrer (talk) 04:53, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thank You Christian. Its quite fine work indeed. Best Regards, --Leoboudv (talk) 07:38, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
Dear Christian,
If you can, please review this image as the flickrbot apparently malfunctioned after 15:37 on January 14. Its a great photo. I have notified one of the Flickr review maintainers. Best, --Leoboudv (talk) 22:15, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
- Comment: From AntiCompositeNumber's reply the flickr review situation may get a lot worse soon sadly. I will review a few images but that is all I can do. Please review my upload. Wow the backlog grew from 400 to 800 images now. Best, --Leoboudv (talk) 23:24, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
- Secondly, if you can, please delete the first image upload in File:Two golden bracelets from the Dush treasure.jpg I don't know why the image and info template uploaded twice. The original image by the photographer--who agreed to license this image freely--has some distracting artifacts...which I assume was because of the different lights placed over it but I cannot clean up the photo. If you want to.....go ahead. If you are busy, don't worry at all! Thanks, --Leoboudv (talk) 23:55, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
- I reviewed it and deleted the first version, I will see a bit later if I can improve it a bit. Christian Ferrer (talk) 08:54, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
- Comment: Thank You Christian. The flickrbot has now completely stopped working sadly. Kind Regards, --Leoboudv (talk) 08:57, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Leoboudv: I uploaded an improved version. Christian Ferrer (talk) 16:45, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thank You Christian. This is a much better version of the image indeed! Best Regards, --Leoboudv (talk) 20:57, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
Two images
Dear Christian,
The flickr review backlog has reached almost 4,000 images and efforts to fix the problem by AntiComposite is not yet working from this message. So, if you can, please kindly review these 2 images below.
The Tutankhamun crown or diadem is a very important image since Wikicommons does not have a single copy of this object in its Treasure of Tutankhamun collection and this is the real thing from Tutankhamun's tomb....not a replica. I thank you for any help that you can give. Best Regards and Goodnight from Canada, --Leoboudv (talk) 13:19, 16 January 2025 (UTC)
- Done Christian Ferrer (talk) 18:20, 16 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thank You Christian for your kind help. I think that if the Flickr Review 2 bot is not fixed soon, uploaders may start to panic or get angry. I try to review some images...but 4,000 images+ is way too much for one person to handle. Have a great night, Best, --Leoboudv (talk) 20:45, 16 January 2025 (UTC)
Dear Christian,
When you have the time, please kindly review this image which I got licensed freely please. The flickrreview bot is totally broken, it seems. Kind Regards, --Leoboudv (talk) 21:21, 17 January 2025 (UTC)
- I reviewed between 55 to 60 images today. For the flickr review backlog to be at 13,000+ images is worrying. Best, --Leoboudv (talk) 08:11, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
- Done out of solidarity I too reviewed 10 images yesterday and today. Maybe tools such as #flickr2commons should be disabled as long as the bot is down. Christian Ferrer (talk) 08:50, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for your kind help Christian. I managed to get this image licensed freely. Have a great Saturday. Best, --Leoboudv (talk) 09:46, 18 January 2025 (UTC)
