Tip: Categorizing images
[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.CategorizationBot (talk) 10:45, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

File:Kościół Św. Ducha w Grodzisku Wlkp..JPG i File:Kościół farny w Grodzisku Wielkopolskim.JPG
Zwiadowca 21 13:08, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
- Przepraszam, że byłem zbyt oschły. Opis to ta informacja (|Description=) co obrazek przedstawia. W pliku File:Kościół farny w Grodzisku Wielkopolskim.JPG dałeś w polu inne wersje (other versions) wpis "Pfarrkirche in Grodzisk Wielkopolski". Nie bardzo wiem o co chodzi. :( Zwiadowca 21 02:00, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
- Usunąłem tą inną wersję. Mimo poszukiwań nie znalazłem pliku image:Pfarrkirche in Grodzisk Wielkopolski.jpg Zwiadowca 21 16:12, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Hej.

Picture of the Year 2013 R2 Announcement
[edit]Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2013 is open!
[edit]- ⧼Wikibase-terms/Bialo-zielony⧽: Deutsch, Ελληνικά, English, français, magyar, italiano, македонски, 日本語, русский, svenska
Dear Wikimedians,
Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2013 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2013) to produce a single Picture of the Year.
Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.
There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. The top 30 overall and the most popular image in each category have continued to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just one image to become the Picture of the Year.
Round 2 will end on 7 March 2014. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Commons:Picture_of_the_Year/2013/Introduction/en Click here to learn more and vote »]
Thanks,
the Wikimedia Commons Picture of the Year committee

In both rounds, 4070 different people voted for their favorite images. Additionally, there were more image candidates (featured pictures) in the contest than ever before (962 images total).

We congratulate the winners of the contest and thank them for creating these beautiful images and sharing them as freely licensed content:
- 157 people voted for the winner, an image of a lightbulb with the tungsten filament smoking and burning.
- In second place, 155 people voted for an image of "Sviati Hory" (Holy Mountains) National Park in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine.
- In third place, 131 people voted for an image of a swallow flying and drinking.

Gmina Buk
[edit]Pisałeś do mnie z zapytaniem o zdjęcia z gminy Buk (jakiś czas temu, jednak zernąłem do wiki dopiero teraz); poszukam gdy wrócę do Poznania, lecz poza samym Bukiem mam niewiele.
Sprawdzasz podgląd i zapisujesz zmiany 4.
Wybrałem edycję i dopisałem wiersz z nową kategorią, zapisałem. 2. Kliknąłem na czerwonym linku do nowej kategorii na dole ekranu. Poniżej pojawiło się puste okienko edycji 3. Znalazłem pasujące wg mnie kategorie i je wpisałem.
Pozdrawiam Bonvol (talk) 19:18, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
Pozdrawiam! Będę w Twoich stronach w sobotę. Bonvol (talk) 13:07, 15 May 2016 (UTC)
Source of derivative work is not properly indicated: File:Wybory samorządowe w Polsce 2018, plakaty w Grodzisku Wlkp.jpg
[edit]This file may be deleted. |
A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Wybory samorządowe w Polsce 2018, plakaty w Grodzisku Wlkp.jpg, is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such works would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a map that has been altered from the original. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.
While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. Please edit the file description and add the missing information, or the file may be deleted. If you created the original content yourself, enter this information as the source. If someone else created the content, the source should be the address to the web page where you found it, the name and ISBN of the book you scanned it from, or similar. You should also name the author, provide verifiable information to show that the content is in the public domain or has been published under a free license by its author, and add an appropriate template identifying the public domain or licensing status, if you have not already done so. Please add the required information for this and other files you have uploaded before adding more files. If you need assistance, please ask at the help desk. Thank you! |
