In an effort to create a local Wikipedia community, this user is teaching "What is Wikipedia", Wikipedia editing classes and hosting meet-ups at a variety of the Kent County (Michigan) public library system branches.

One proposed outcome of these activities would be a GLAM partnership with Kent District Library focusing on the local history assets at the library branches. Fingers crossed!

In 2012-2013 Bdcousineau facilitated WP:GLAM/GFPLM, and worked closely with Wikipedian-in-Residence User:Michael Barera and other kind and generous editors. The project was a success due to their patience and persistence.
