  The remains of the SGTR forestry line (from 1923), but although the platform converted into a cycle path is still present in the forest, almost as far as "La Coubre", it is difficult, if not impossible, to locate the site of this tramway terminus at Ronce les Bains (the one set up in 1923 by the SGTR); This terminus consisted of two dead-end tracks (or "Y"), at most (but this is not certain) it may have had a basic wooden shelter.

Only one 021.T had sloping water tanks, the second No 10 (the first, an 031.T, disappeared from the fleet quite early), but the 031.Ts had conventional water tanks, without sloping ends.

  Royan tramway near Nauzan beach. It is worth noting the rare presence of a four-car set, pulled by one of SGTR's two 0-6-2T locomotives - The 0-4-2T only pulled a maximum of three carriages, which was already quite a lot given the relatively low power of these 0-4-2T locomotives.

Normally, the Royan trains were made up of one 0-4-2T locomotive and three open sided carriages: a maximum for power and grip, but the more powerful 0-6-2T locomotives could haul four carriages. This was quite rare, as there were only two 0-6-2T locomotives (apart from a short time around 1900, when there were three) and, according to the many accounts of those who knew the Royan tramways (which disappeared in 1945 for passengers and in 1947/48 for material trains), of the two 0-6-2T locomotives, one was stationed at Pontaillac on peak days as a reserve and possible back-up.
