The photographs fail to meet the official guidelines of COM:TOYS, specifically:

When uploading a picture of a toy, you must show that the toy is in the public domain in both the United States and in the source country of the toy. In the United States, copyright is granted for toys even if the toy is ineligible for copyright in the source country.

There has been no evidence presented that the toy at the focus of the photographs, and named in the category or title, are public domain. Photographs where there is a potential de minimis rationale, and other items or people are clearly a main focus, have not been selected in this request.

For an in-depth background and explanation of Commons copyright policies, refer to the Stuffed Animals essay and the precedent of prior closely related deletion requests:

Comment In File:Wikimania2016 Wikifranca meetupIMG 3623.jpg and File:Week-end stratégie Wikimédia France 2015 64.jpg the plushs are not the focus of the photographs (they are literally out of focus), so I think Com:De minimis applies. Léna (talk) 14:51, 8 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'm ok with Léna. Kergourlay (talk) 16:53, 11 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose This plush is a manufactured product and not a work of art. As a faithful reproduction of an existing animal, it doesn't meet the threshold of originality. Pymouss Let’s talk - 12:05, 14 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The comparison of this ermine to the toy, shows that at best the comparison is like teddy to brown bear. It's not taxidermy, it's designing a fabric toy to look enough like an animal to be amusing. -- (talk) 12:33, 14 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
