The New Belve Youth and Community Sports Centre was built in 1898 as the St Paul's Institute (associated with the now-demolished church on Belvidere Road), it then became the Belvedere Boys' Club and was in the early 2010s refurbished and is a now a centre for Golden Gloves Boxing, and other social activities.
