English: Jiaohe ruins are 8 km west of Turpan. The site was a border garrison town during the Han dinasty, and later became part of the Uyghur Kingdom of Qocho, until it was destroyed by Gengis Khan.
Español: Las ruinas de Jiaohe se encuentran a unos 8 km al oeste de Turfán. El sitio fue una ciudad fronteriza en tiempos de la dinastía Han, y posteriormente formaba parte del Reino Uigur de Qocho, hasta que fue conquistada y destruida por Gengis Khan.
