English: Ellingham is a small village near Ringwood in Hampshire, England west of the New Forest national park. It is known by locals as "Moyles Court", the name of the house at the centre of the settlement. The village and surrounding countryside are a large tourist attraction in the summer months. Visitors generally centre around "The Ford" (a river crossing) or "The Sandpit" (a naturally occurring hillside of sand). Ellingham is most famous for the story of Alice Lisle, who has a pub named after her in the village.
