English: The Arrogant class ships of the line consisted of 12 74-gun 3rd rates, built for the Royal Navy. They were the HMS Arrogant and HMS Cornwall (launched 1761), HMS Edgar (launched 1779), HMS Goliath (launched 1781), HMS Zealous, HMS Audacious (launched 1785), HMS Bellerophon, HMS Elephant, HMS Saturn (launched 1786), HMS Vanguard, HMS Excellent (launched 1787) and HMS Illustrious (launched 1789).
