  • The logo for Back Alley, a shop owned by Collin Bogert
  • The word "LOL"
  • The word "Updog"
• Paleolithic to Modern English is written by Dr. Collin Lopez-Clift PHD, a portmanteau of the names of Collin Bogert, Jon Lopez, and Andy Clift.
• Edd's caveman design bares a strong resemblance to Edg from "WTFuture."
• Various references can be seen carved into the walls of the cave, such as
  • The titular characters of Jon Lopez's Michael and James.
  • Petey from Mike Picone's Cave TV.
  • Sonic The Hedgehog.
  • Matt inventing the wheel, as seen in "WTFuture."
• This is the first episode of Eddsworld Beyond to feature Tord. However, he is on a picture in "Surf & Turf Wars (Part 1)", but his face is unseen.
• As of this Eddisode, Matt Hargreaves (Matt), Ben Rudman (Mark) and Joshua Tomar (Santa Claus) are the only three people so far to portray the same character in Eddsworld, Eddsworld: Legacy and Eddsworld Beyond.
