The Priest's Staff was a magical staff that allowed the wielder to crack open a portal to Tartarus upon the ground in order to banish a target there. It could be activated using the Tartarus Imprisonment Spell. The staff was broken when the Vera-Vaughn Charmed Ones and Parker Caine used it to imprison Hunter Caine and unintentionally Harry Greenwood within Tartarus.
History[]
It was in the possession of a priest of the Romanian Catholic Church. The priest unleashed the staff's powers when the demon brothers, Hunter and Parker, infiltrated his cathedral to steal a mystical amulet. However, Hunter was able to get the upper hand and stole the staff, which he then used to murder the priest - despite telling Parker that he wouldn't.
Later, Parker Caine tried to use the staff to send his half-brother to Tartarus but in the fight Hunter and the Whitelighter, Harry Greenwood, end up stuck in the hellish dimension. The staff fell to Tartarus while its headpiece broke off and remained on Earth.
Effects[]
- Portal Creation: When channeled with the accompanied spell, the staff has the capability of banishing a target to the hellish prison, Tartarus, by cracking open a portal upon the ground and causing them to fall down into it.
