Celeste's pocket watch is a magical watch that allowed Celeste to prolong her life for at least five hundred years by stopping her time. This function was made defunct when Celeste reworked the clock to allow Mel Vera and Abigael Jameson-Caine to travel through time. It was later used again to send Macy Vaughn and Maggie Vera into the future.
History[]
In "Third Time's the Charm", Celeste was shown handling the watch many times. She revealed that this watch had stopped her time, prolonging her life for several hundred years. She also said that Leonardo da Vinci had helped create this watch in the 1500s.
In "Triage", Celeste loans the watch to Mel Vera and readjusts its function to send both Mel and Abigael Jameson-Caine to the year 2070 in Hilltowne in order to retrieve the piece of the pendant containing the Source which Mel had hidden in the future when she still had the powers of a 'time witch'.
In "Schrodinger's Future", Macy Vaughn and Maggie Vera borrowed Celeste's watch to travel to the year of 2026 in order to find out what happens in the future that drives future Mel to transfer her unborn baby to her present self. They arranged for the watch to give them thirty minutes instead of fifteen. However, when they walked into a trap in SafeSpace, Seattle set by future Abigael, the clock broke. Upon contacting Celeste and Harry utilizing Macy's earbugs, they were able to find a piece to replace the broken one and return to the present, though having been there for too long, Macy and Maggie aged rapidly upon their return.
Effects and Functions[]
- Immortality: The watch's original function was to stop Celeste's time, which allowed her to cease her aging process for many centuries. However, she became dependent on this invention, since if the watch stopped or was broken, she would die by rapidly aging and being reduced to dust. Besides that, the watch doesn't work for mortals. Celeste was later forced to adjust the function of the watch, which effectively ended her link to the device.
- Time Travel: After adjusting the watch's function, the watch was able to bring Mel Vera and Abigael Jameson-Caine to 2070 using a time traveling spell. After retrieving what they needed from the future, Abigael cast the return spell to send them back to the present. She later lent the watch to Macy Vaughn and Maggie Vera to send them forward in time to the year 2026 and then back to their own time.
