Time slot shifts[]
Fall[]
60 Minutes moved it's usual 7:00pm timeslot to 7:30pm.
Around a third of the Fall schedule were reruns.
Mid-fall[]
60 Minutes moves back to it's original time slot.
Shows like NCIS: Sydney, SEAL Team, and FBI True(Paramount+ Originals) were moved to the CBS schedule.
Spring[]
CBS returns to a normal schedule that would have been in Fall but the 2023 Writers Strike modified the schedule.

2023 Writers Strike[]
The 2023 writers strike heavily changed the 2023-2024 TV season, especially on CBS. Shows like FBI True, NCIS: Sydney, and SEAL Team that were Paramount+ originals had to be moved to the CBS network schedule in order to keep the network running shows during the Mid-fall season(Fall just did reruns and realities mostly), before CBS moved their regular shows back in Spring.
Due to the strike, 2 shows planned in this season were delayed to the 2024-25 schedule. Those shows were Matlock and Poppa's House. Matlock's time slot was used for The Equalizer, and Poppa's House was supposed to be mid-season(time slot never revealed).
