Fake Grant is a recurring boss in the Castlevania series. He is a zombie impersonating Grant Danasty.
Description[]
Fake Grant appears in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night as one of a trio of bosses in the Reverse Colosseum, and also in Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin as part of the same trio in the Nest of Evil. He will be teamed up with Fake Trevor and Fake Sypha, but unlike Trevor, he won't be resurrected by Fake Sypha if she is still alive when killed. He wields knives as weapons and crawls around on the ceiling of the arena.
He only has two attacks:
- Jumps, clings and crawls up on the ceiling and throws down a knife if directly over the player.
- Wields a knife, jump offs the ceiling and strikes at the player on the way down.
- If on the ground, throws a knife all across the screen.
If struck by any attack, he will fall off the ceiling, remain stunned on the ground for a few seconds and then jump right back up there.
When defeated in Portrait of Ruin, he can occasionally drop a bowl of Ramen Noodles.

Trivia[]
- In Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, the Doppelganger can also take the form of Grant Danasty if playing as this character, although this creature can take the form of other living beings, while Fake Grant is actually a zombie.
