Resurgence is a game mode featured in Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. In Warzone, it was added with the Season One update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, in Warzone 2.0, it was added with the Season Two update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and in Warzone Mobile, it was added at the launch of the game.

Call of Duty: Warzone[]
Resurgence in Warzone takes place on Rebirth Island or Fortune's Keep and works similarly to Blackout's Down But Not Out mode. It features up to 40 players in both maps. As long as a teammate is alive, players can redeploy after a countdown. They can redeploy 15 seconds after being killed during the first playzone and 39 seconds during the second and third playzones until the Rebirth Countdown runs out after 9 minutes and 15 seconds. After the timer has run out, players being killed will no longer be able to redeploy. Killing a player will also temporarily highlight their teammates on the mini-map.
Every player in Resurgence starts with a Self-Revive Kit. Players can also help their teammates redeploy faster by downing other players reducing the timer by 2 seconds; killing other players, reducing it by 7 seconds; killing other players with a Finishing Move, reducing it by 8 seconds; destroying enemy equipments, reducing the timer by 1 seconds; opening crates, reducing it by 2 seconds; and completing contracts, reducing the timer by 5 seconds.
The mode also features exclusive crates called Rebirth Supply Boxes. Painted in red, these Supply Boxes can be reactivated after being opened. The boxes are marked with a recharging bar; as the bar progresses its color change from red to green. Once fully recharged, after just over a minute, the boxes can be looted again.

Extreme[]

Extreme is a limited-time variant of Resurgence supporting up to 99 players instead of 40 players. It was available between February 25th and March 4th, 2021.
Extreme returned on Fortune's Keep between July 8th and July 11th, 2022 but supporting only 60 players.
Mini[]
Resurgence Mini is a limited-time variant of Resurgence. It was available between June 17th and June 24th, 2021. Following the same rules as Resurgence, Resurgence Mini takes place on a very small portion of Verdansk with up to 45 players compared to the 150 players in a standard Battle Royale match.
Vanguard[]
Introduced with Season One for Call of Duty: Vanguard, Vanguard Resurgence takes place on a small sectioned off portion of Caldera with up to 45 players.
The mode returned during the Season Five update of Vanguard as Caldera Resurgence.
Supreme[]

Supreme is a limited-time variant of Resurgence supporting up to 40 players. It was available between October 14th and October 20th, 2022.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0[]
Resurgence in Warzone 2.0 takes place on Ashika Island, Vondel, Fortune's Keep, Rebirth Island or Area 99 and works similarly to Resurgence in Warzone. It features up to 54 players on Ashika Island, up to 72 players on Vondel, up to 52 players on Fortune's Keep and up to 44 players on Rebirth Island.

It was available between July 26th and August 1st, 2023. Following the same rules as Resurgence, Supe'd Up Resurgence has the addition of the Temp V Field Upgrade on the ground loot with a high spawn rate.
Fort[]
Introduced on September 6th, 2023 as part of the Season Five Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Fort Resurgence takes around the Al Bagra Fortress in Al Mazrah with up to 40 players.
Urzikstan[]
Introduced with the Season One update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Urzikstan Resurgence takes place on smalls sectioned off portion of Urzikstan that are: Orlov Military Base, Popov Power and Zaravan Suburbs. It features up to 45 players.
Slay Ride[]

Slay Ride Resurgence is a limited-time variant of Resurgence that was added during the Season One update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. It was available between December 19th, 2023 and January 3rd, 2024. The variant would return with the Season One Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 available between December 19th, 2024 and January 2nd, 2025. Slay Ride Resurgence is a Holiday-themed Resurgence takes place on a large sectioned off portion of Urzikstan with up to 56 players.
Featuring the Zombie Santa and a Festive Train, the player need captured Christmas Trees. After captured a Christmas Tree, the player will gain access go through a Red Door portal, which will teleport them into the air overlooking a Stronghold site. In the site is Zombie Santa who the player must attempt to kill. After Zombie Santa takes damage, he will teleport to a different area of the Stronghold and spawn enemy Zombies onto the player. After killing him, Zombie Santa will drop his Minigun as well as various other high-tier loot.
During the second circle, players will get to experience the Deer Hunt Public Event, in which Hellhounds will spawn on the map and players must hunt them down. After killing them, they will drop more high-tier loot. During the third circle, Zombie Santa will return, who now controls and stands atop of the Train circling Urzikstan. He will function like in the Stronghold, teleporting to different carriages on the train and spawning both Zombies and Hellhounds. After killing him, he will drop high-tier loot.

High Trip Resurgence is a limited-time variant of Resurgence that was added during the Season Three update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. It was available between April 10th and April 26th, 2024. Taking place on Rebirth Island with up to 44 players, players are thrown into a smoke-filled island, spawned in with one of the weapons listed below and their Fists:

It was available between June 26th and July 11th, 2024. Taking place in Popov Power on Urzikstan with up to 44 players, the mode centers to a variety of mutant abilities. The mode removes all Tacticals and Lethals from ground loot.
Mutation Powers[]
- Bioshield: Creates a protective bubble that blocks incoming damage but allows you to shoot out from within this sphere.
- Divebomb: Rocket into the air, then dive towards a target. On impact any nearby enemies are damaged and pushed back.
- Mutant Leap: Perform a charged jump that covers vast distances.
- Toxic Stim Cloud: Deploy a poisonous cloud that inflicts damage to enemies and boosts your squad mates’ speed for a short duration.
- Sludge Sling: Toss sludge grenades that explode into a toxic gas cloud on impact. The gas slows and damages enemies over time.
- Mutant Cloak: Turn partially invisible for a short time. You leave green footprints while cloaked.
- Mutant Vision: See enemies outlined in red through walls for a short duration.

Supreme Resurgence is a limited-time variant of Resurgence that was added with the Season Five Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. It was available between August 21st and September 5th, 2024. Takes place on Rebirth Island with up to 44 players, players will find top-of-the-line ground loot, including powerful meta-inspired Weapon Blueprints featuring a variety of camos. The price of Loadouts is increased.The Resurgence timer also takes longer to complete, but actions taken by the remaining teammates will reduce the count more quickly.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile[]
Resurgence in Warzone Mobile takes place on Rebirth Island and works similarly to Resurgence in previous versions. It features up to 48 players on Rebirth Island.
