Team Rocket Expedition which stands by the evils of love and truth (Japanese: 愛と真実の悪を貫くロケット探検団 Rocket Gang Expedition which stands by the evils of love and truth) is a series of short stories that occurs at the end of episodes in Pokémon Journeys: The Series.

The segments are shown exclusively in the Japanese version, placed after the ending theme of the episode. Introduced in JN133 and ended in JN138, each segment contains a part where the Team Rocket trio travels through the Paldea region, looking for Pokémon from said region for them to catch. The segment always ends with the Pokémon attacking the Team Rocket trio directly or indirectly.

Episode 1

Summary

In search of a new Pokémon, the Team Rocket trio has visited the Paldea region for the first time. They encounter a wild Sprigatito and try to catch it, but Sprigatito releases a scent, which makes them feel sleepy, and runs away, much to their dismay.

Summary

Continuing their quest, the trio finds a Fuecoco. As they attempt to capture it, Jessie accidentally pulls out an Oran Berry instead of a Poké Ball, prompting Fuecoco to charge at the Berry and blast Team Rocket off with a fire attack.

Summary

Continuing their quest, the trio comes across a Quaxly. Jessie, James, and Meowth each attempt to catch it by throwing a Poké Ball, but Quaxly furiously blasts them all off with Water Gun and escapes safely.

Continuing their quest, the trio comes across a Koraidon. They prepare to catch it, but Koraidon notices them and proceeds to blast the trio off after chasing them down.
