Super Luck (Japanese: きょううん Good Luck) is an Ability introduced in Generation IV. In Generation IX, it is the signature Ability of Murkrow and Honchkrow.

Effect

In battle

Super Luck increases the critical hit ratio by 1 stage.

Outside of battle

Generation IV

In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver only, if a Pokémon with Super Luck breaks a rock and finds an item, the game will instead pick the item below it in the game's list, unless it was the 5% item (this effectively means it will never find the most common item).

Generation VIII

If a Pokémon with this Ability leads the party (even if fainted), the chances of finding a wild Pokémon holding an item increase from 50%/5% to 60%/20%. This effect is shared with Compound Eyes.

Generation IX

In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Super Luck has no effect on the items held by wild Pokémon.
