If held by an Audino, allows it to Mega Evolve into Mega Audino if its Trainer has a Key Stone. Each Trainer can only Mega Evolve one Pokémon per battle.
Unaffected by item negating effects (such as Embargo and Klutz). Item manipulating effects (such as Trick and Fling) cannot give Audino an Audinite or remove an Audinite from Audino.
Outside of battle
If held by an Audino, allows it to Mega Evolve into Mega Audino when it performs a Spectacular Talent during a Pokémon Contest Spectacular while its Trainer has a Key Stone. Audino will remain a Mega Audino until the Talent Round ends.
The player can obtain the Audinite by defeating Mega Audino in Stage 10, the final stage of Puerto Blanco. Its Trainer gives the player the Mega Stone as a reward for winning.
The Audinite enables the following Mega Evolutions:
Erases all Pokémon within one space of the match. If more icons of this Pokémon are adjacent to the match, then for each additional icon, one more Pokémon is erased in that direction.
Erases one kind of Pokémon with the same type as Mega Audino (max 10). Won't clear other Mega Audino.

Having the Audinite allows the player to view Audino and Winking Audino from the Pokémon List even if they are not captured, though their icons are faded and their type, attack power, and Skill are not visible. However, Stage 9 is guaranteed to conclude with Audino being captured, so in practice this can only apply to Winking Audino.
