After two years, Shovel had left them to inspect the Build Kings, and left them with a mission, that the both of them had to, independently, build a house strong enough to withstand the harshness of the island for the next 2 years in which Shovel would send someone to pick them up. Before leaving, Shovel gave part of his headband and his Vigor Hammer to Tonkachi.

Tonkachi heads into his house and mocks the trolls but one of the Trolls easily blows the house away with its breath. Tonkachi starts to retreat backwards until he reaches Renga's house. Tonkachi asks Renga to let him in his house, which Renga guides him in. Renga asks Tonkachi what happened, which Tonkachi explains how his house blew away like a dandelion. Renga tells Tonkachi that he has to build a solid house or he will never be able to live on his own, which Tonkachi replies that Renga's house is so peaceful and that it doesn't budge when the trolls attack. Renga tells Tonkachi that its because he doesn't build his house in an instant like Tonkachi do, which Tonkachi says that its not good to build a house in one go. Renga tells Tonkachi that its been three years since their master left and that someone should be coming to pick them up, which Tonkachi wonders if someone will actually come pick them up since its already been three years. Tonkachi then tells Renga that he is hungry, which Renga says that Tonkachi should work on his cooking. Tonkachi says that cooking is another dimension for him, which Renga explains how feeding oneself and finding shelter are two of the three essentials to living. Tonkachi then asks to spend the night, which Renga says that Tonkachi always stay over every night.

The next day, Tonkachi tells him kappa apprentices that its time for them to learn some independence and they each have to build their own houses but the kappa's complain about how Tonkachi hasn't taught them anything. As the kappas says that they want to become the assistants of Renga, which Tonkachi says that Renga is busy with the trolls. Ken comments about how his girlfriend says that they should be thankful to Tonkachi for being so strong since he saves them from sea monsters that attack them, which Tonkachi is shocked that he has a girlfriend. Another kappa asks why Tonkachi doesn't build his own house, which Tonkachi replies that he doesn't need a house to protect him since he is so strong. Ken says that his other girlfriend mentioned that the House-Eaters keep destroying them, which Tonkachi is shocked that Ken has two girlfriends. Suddenly someone comes and tells them that the boss of the trolls has escaped, and that everyone is seeking refuge in Renga's house. Tonkachi says that its his time to shine and says that he will be back in a jiff.

Tonkachi dashes off and uses his hammer to flings himself to Renga's home. Tonkachi notices that Renga's home is destroyed and rushes to Renga's side. Renga tells Tonkachi to be careful since the boss is not like the other trolls, which Tonkachi notices the boss troll. Tonkachi greets the boss and says that he has been waiting for him to come out. Renga comments about how he is failure of a carpenter, which Tonkachi says that Renga's house was useful. Renga explains how his house was a failure, which Tonkachi tells Renga that his house was able to protect the penguins since the penguins are all alive. Tonkachi says that Renga can just rebuild his house and that Renga should keep challenging himself until he is able to build a solid house like a Build King. Tonkachi says that he knows that Renga will build something like that someday. Tonkachi says that he will leave the building of solid houses to Renga while now its his turn to build.

Renga asks what can Tonkachi possibly build, which Tonkachi says that he can build peace while withstanding a punch from the boss. Tonkachi explains how their master used to say that carpentry can give shape to an inhabitant's dreams and the dream of every inhabitant on this island is security and peace. Tonkachi says that he had gotten stronger in order to fulfill that dream and now he will begin the construction to build everyone's peace. As the boss enlarges himself, Tonkachi tells Renga to stay behind him since he will be Renga's solid and sturdy house. As the boss attacks, Tonkachi is able to push him back. Tonkachi says how dare the boss bully his younger brother and to prepare himself for what he has got in store for him. Tonkachi explains the Vigor Hammer and extends it to ten meters. Tonkachi says that this should be enough to repair the peace and attacks. Tonkachi leaves a large carter, and comments about how ten meters did a real number on his arm. Tonkachi asks the boss if he gets it now, which the boss says that he understands and that he is sorry.

Later Tonkachi and Renga inform the others at the shore that everything is okay. Tonkachi says that his construction for peace is complete and that he will take on any other construction requests they have. Tonkachi and Renga then say that their master is waiting for them and that their goal is the Build Kings. As the ship gets closer, they notices that its actually a house and notices that someone is chasing it. As the guy splits the house in half and the house puts itself back together, Tonkachi is shocked by this. Ken informs them that the house is a House-Beast and explains what a House-Beast is capable of. As the House-Beast gets close to the island, Tonkachi uses his hammer to stop the House-Beast and has it land into the ocean. Afterwards everyone cheers for Tonkachi and lifts him up into the air.

As the guy comes out of the ocean, Tonkachi comments about how they have been waiting for him to come while still being lifted into the air. The guy then asks for their names, which Tonkachi introduces himself as the carpenter who builds peace. The guy says that the ocean is not peaceful, which Tonkachi tells him that the construction of the ocean is still incomplete. Tonkachi then says that he has made the island sturdy and peaceful just like a Build King, which the guy laughs and says that the island has got to be the most peaceful place on the planet. The Guy then introduces himself as Nana and that he is also an apprentice of Shovel. Tonkachi gets excited and tells everyone that they should give Nana a warm welcome but notices that House-Beast has refurbished itself. Tonkachi wonders what happened, which Nana figure that Tonkachi had his the House-Beast with the back of the hammer and explains how the hammer works. As the House-Beast spews treasure out of its chimney, Nana talks about the House-Beast and says that it is thanking Tonkachi for what he did. Tonkachi tells the House-Beast that its a good thing that he mixed up the front and back of the hammer or it would be dead.

After the trolls show up and explain how dangerous the House-Beast are, Tonkachi comments about why the Trolls attack houses. Renga then reminds them what their master told them, which Tonkachi says that Renga is right. Renga wonders who lived in this House-Beast and if they will find a clue inside, which Tonkachi says that he would love to investigate and asks the House-Beast if they can come in. As Nana tells them to not waste their time, Tonkachi and Renga are shocked when the House-Beast opens its door. Tonkachi tells everyone that the House-Beast is letting them in, which everyone is rushing to it. Nana realizes that he still has to go to the bathroom, which Tonkachi is shocked when the House-Beast closes it door. Later the three discuss how to get off the island and through the typhoon, Tonkachi suggests they use the House-Beast to get through the storm since it is able to withstand the typhoon. Tonkachi tells Renga to hang on and tries to get back to the House-Beast but the storm flings them around. Suddenly Tonkachi notices a house in the storm and remember what their master told them about building courage in their hearts. Tonkachi then notices a shadow in the distance and uses his hammer to get them out of the storm. As they get out of the storm, Tonkachi is excited but notices that he has used up most of his strength. As they hit the water, Renga pulls Tonkachi to the surface which Tonkachi thanks him. As Renga says that he should be the one thanking Tonkachi, which Tonkachi says that its thanks to their master and mention what their master told them about courage. When Nana shows up and says that this is the continent along with asking them how it feels, Tonkachi and Renga don't hear them since they are asleep.

Later, the three head into town while they leave the House-Beast at the show. As they head into town, Tonkachi and Renga are amazed at what they witness as Nana explains everything that happens at the Renoveport and Material Market. Nana then give them a communicator so that he can contact them. The three then go get food at Build Food, which Tonkachi eats a ton of food. While eating Nana comments about how the two have to get their licenses before they can work. Nana explains that Renga will be okay but Tonkachi is the problem. Nana asks why Tonkachi didn't build a house while he was on the island and if Tonkachi wants to be a top-class builder, which Tonkachi says that he does and explains what their master had told them. Tonkachi then comments about how they promised everyone on the island that they would construct a Build King on the island. Nana tells Tonkachi that he will have to try building at least one house, but notices that Tonkachi has alcohol and tells him that kids can't have alcohol. Tonkachi says that Nana should have it since workers always like to throw back a hard one after a long day, which Nana drinks it even through he is a non-drinker.

After Nana falls asleep, Tonkachi suggests that they take some food to the House-Beast which Renga agrees to. As the two walk back to the shore, the two come across some house that they don't remember pasting before. As they are checking out the houses, they suddenly turn into humans which Tonkachi is shocked by this. Tonkachi takes a closer look and asks what they are, which one guy asks if Tonkachi hasn't ever heard of House-Bandits. As one of them explains that they are robbers, which Tonkachi notices that Renga has been captured. Tonakchi gets angry and frees Renga by breaking the House-Bandit's armor. As the House-Bandits get angry and attack, Tonkachi counters by defeating them with Ten-Meter-Nado technique. A House-Bandit asks who he is, which Tonkachi introduces himself as the carpenter who builds peace.

A House-Bandit asks how Tonkachi can build peace while having a living House-Beast and asks about peace for the bad guys, which Tonkachi asks about bad guy peace. After Renga rebuilds the House-Beast's armor, Tonkachi comments about how he never considered that bad guys deserve peace, and tells them to come asks him for help since he builds houses too and that he needs to build one soon.
