This article ("Crush") says that "...the Bronze re-opens under new management" but I can't find any references to it closing or changing management - the last time we see the Bronze (of course) is when Olaf knocked down the second floor in "Triangle".

What am I missing here?

New management[]

I noticed that too. I can't give a clear-cut answer but ...

Spike complains that the "new management" jacked up the drink prices to pay for fixing the place up, and he says "insurance doesn't cover acts of Troll."

I'd guess the Bronze went bankrupt, unable to pay for repairs without insurance compensation, and some new company bought it for a song, then invested in repairing the place.

I actually saw something like this happening with a popular night spot in my town, except it was destroyed by fire, not "act of Troll," and it never re-opened. Most likely the Bronze would never re-open either, but we're allowing artistic license.

The change in management must've happened in the background, offcamera.

Minor edit?[]

I'm thinking about an edit here. This article says that Harmony, "trying to get Spike sexually aroused, engages in a game ..."

When Spike fails to respond to Harmony's advances, she suggests they do something different. Spike asks, "what? LIke you not yammering for two seconds?" She suggests playing a game.

It isn't clear whether Spike or Harmony suggested the game. I think it is more likely to be Spike's idea. If a woman is trying to attract a man, I doubt she'd do it by playing at being her own rival.

At this point, I'm not sure whether Harmony knows that Spike is in love with Buffy. I doubt it. Did I forget an incident where she finds out?
