Sugar Bombs was a breakfast cereal brand.[1]
History[]
In 2000, Dawn Summers served four bowls with Sugar Bombs cereal in order to reach its prize at the bottom of the box. With the prize in hand, she decided to eat an omelet with ketchup instead.[1]
A box of Sugar Bombs was stored atop the refrigerator in the Summers residence's kitchen in 2003,[2][3] even while the Potential Slayers consumed other cereal brands instead, such as Wheat-Flakes, Crunchy Rice, Koala Crisp, Kids, and Super Bran.[4][5]
Behind the scenes[]
- Sugar Bombs is a brand of hand-prop fake breakfast cereal sold by The Hand Prop Room, which has changed its design over the years to reflect contemporary cereal boxes.[6]
- The comic strip Calvin and Hobbes (1985–1995) featured the cereal brand Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs. After its appearances on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the cereal name has been used in various media: the Fallout game series has the Sugar Bombs cereal as a consumable item since 2008; a 2012 Simpsons comic story featured a box of Sugar Bombs breakfast cereal; a nearly identical Sugar Bombs cereal box appeared in the television series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in 2018, and another box of Sugar Bombs cereal appeared in the 2018 animated film Incredibles 2.
