The Mark of Vocah was a symbol left behind by the demon Vocah on his victims. When branded with it, the minds of individuals bearing the visions would be opened to the cries of everyone in danger or suffering in several kilometers around.[1]

Vocah branded Cordelia Chase with it during his attempt to cut off Angel from all his links to the Powers That Be and prevent him from discovering his destiny. Afterwards, Cordelia's mind was opened to constant visions of the people in suffering throughout the world.[1]
