Changes: Jackaroo

Jackaroo is a blue pickup truck that lives in Cactus Creek. He only appears in Built To Be Wild.

Personality

Jackaroo is very friendly and also very determined. He has a huge passion on going on adventures and talks like a stereotypical cowboy. He makes sure visitors at Cactus Creek have a “fine old time” during their stay and loves to engage in activities the visitors participate in and watch them too. He loves to tell stories about Cactus Creek too. He is also quite touristy.

Technical Details

Basis

Jackaroo vaguely resembles a 1930s Ford pickup truck. His basis is shared with Dodger.

Livery

Jackaroo is painted blue along his whole body. His paint in some places shows signs of rust and age. He has a crane arm on his cargo bed to load it up, which is painted silver. His bumpers and wheels are also silver, along with his mouth.

Trivia

• It is possible that his model was recycled into his (possible) twin brother Dodger.
• He is the only machine character in the stop motion era to have a lip sync animation when talking, while the other machine characters lack a lip-sync animation.
• Donny Osmond seems to give him a Texan accent.
• He has a crane arm like Dodger, but doesn't use it for a particular reason.
• He has the same name in all dubs except Slovenian in which he is called "Jakec".
  • In the German version, he is one of the few machines to retain his name.
• He was the only machine to be voiced by a guest/music star.
• His catchphrase "Hot diggity dog!" appears to be shared with the fictional Disney character and mascot Mickey Mouse.
