Nancy Nubbins is a character who appears in all three LEGO Island games.
Background[]
LEGO Island[]
During LEGO Island, Nancy can be found outside the garage talking about various things, such as her plans to audition for the LEGO Island talent show and wandering LEGO Island. Inside the garage, she tells Nubby Stevens and the player Studs Linkin's racecar has broken down and helps guide them if they decide to help drive the tow truck to pick up the racecar. When Brickster escapes, she mentions that she finds him cute.
LEGO Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge[]
At the start of the PC and Playstation versions of the game, she is at the garage, where Pepper can deliver her a pizza. Afterward, she wanders around LEGO Island during the game.
She is near the garage in the Game Boy Color version, where she initially tells the player Nubby Stevens has the pickaxe Bill Ding needs.
Island Xtreme Stunts[]
Nancy wanders around LEGO Island in the PC and Playstation 2 versions of Island Xtreme Stunts. When Pepper talks to her, she discusses her plans to open a showroom and mentions that she is responsible for the temporary racetrack in-game. After Pepper stops the Brickster, she is in the theater during Island Xtreme Stunts' premiere.
In the Game Boy Advance version of the game, she makes an appearance in the theater when the final version of Xtreme Stunts is shown.
Behind the Scenes[]
An early draft of LEGO Island's manual details that her great-grandparents were some of LEGO Island's earliest settlers and the wealthiest citizens who owned a ranch for horses, dogs, cats, and birds.[1]
The LEGO Island 3 character bible mentions that she moved to LEGO Island during the Great Depression, where she began work for Nubby at the check at of the garage. Later, after Nubby had financial difficulties, she bought the garage. [2]
