Spoiler warning: Plot or ending details follow.
Sora created the mech as some point prior to the Mech Master 5000 in "The Merge, Part 1", but was only able to complete it in that episode after obtaining a needed component from the Crossroads Junkyard. She and Arin then entered it in the race, but it was sabotaged by their long-time rival Kreel. As a result, when the pair abandoned the race in order to help Riyu escape from Imperium Claw Hunters, the mech exploded apart when they attempted to use the turbo boost. However, Riyu boosted Sora's previously unknown Elemental Tech power, and she was able to reassemble the mech in a flying configuration before the three were captured by Lord Ras.
Having recovered the mech at some point after meeting Lloyd, Sora would again put it to use during "Beyond Madness." She briefly used it to battle the Earth Dragons, but her lack of confidence caused it to come apart. Sora attempted to repair the mech without using her powers, and in "Writers of Destiny" she used it to battle creatures menacing the Cloud Kingdom. After two attempts to do so without Riyu's assistance, Sora decided to embrace her elemental powers and used them to help her pilot the mech in battle against the beasts.
In "The Temple of the Dragon Cores", Sora's practicing with her mech has the unfortunate effect of messing up the monastery while Lloyd is attempting to clean things up. In "The Power Within", Sora goes to work on her mech and, after previously using her elemental powers solo, resolves to figure out how to do so from now on. In "To Mysterium", Fritz and Spitz mess with the mech and end up losing control of it, forcing Cole to employ his own mech to halt the mech so Zane can deactivate it.
