Turquoise

Turquoise is a character on Blue's Clues and Blue's Clues & You!. She is Blue's pet turtle.

Description[]

Turquoise first appeared in "Blue's Birthday," when Steve did some shopping at the present store for Blue. Steve saw Turquoise and bought her after thinking that Blue would like her. It would later turn out that, through a game of Blue's Clues, that Turquoise was what Blue wanted the most for her birthday. She continues to appear throughout the series afterwards.

As seen in "Shy," Turquoise was once shy around the viewers when they got up close to see her. Then, in a flash, she disappeared into her shell. Turquoise poked out of her shell and remembered the viewers at home and the very first time that the viewers and Turquoise met at Blue's birthday party.

Turquoise is the third clue in "Nurture!" and part of the answer to Blue's Clues. In "Joe's First Day," she is the subject of Blue's book on how to feed a turtle.

Looks[]

Turquoise is a green turtle with a light blue shell that has dark blue pentagonal spots on it.

In Blue's Clues & You!, she is a lighter shade of green and her spots are shiny.

• Turquoise doesn't appears in Season 5 & 6 in every episodes.
• It is unknown why she was gotten in Blue's Clues & You. It is quite possible she is a new turtle and got named Turquoise in dedication to the previous Turquoise. However, she made her debut in the reboot in Laugh with Blue, which aired before Happy Birthday Blue, but only as a cameo.
• In Nurture!, it could be implied that carrots might be Turquoise's favorite food since Blue fed her carrots in that episode.
